- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan. (Optional: Use melted butter and flour for extra-easy cleanup)
- In a medium bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the milk until well combined.
- Pour the entire can of strawberry pie filling into the prepared baking pan.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the top of the strawberry pie filling.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cake mix. Do not stir.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the cake is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool completely before serving. It's even better the next day!
Notes
For a richer flavor, use full-fat cream cheese. You can also add a sprinkle of chopped nuts or a drizzle of chocolate sauce before serving.
