- Wash all fruit thoroughly under cold running water.
- Cut the watermelon into bite-sized cubes. Hull and slice the strawberries.
- In a large bowl, gently combine the watermelon, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries.
- Add the lime juice to the fruit mixture.
- If desired, add honey or maple syrup and gently toss to combine. Taste and adjust sweetness as needed.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld (optional).
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves (if using) and serve immediately. Enjoy!
Notes
For a sweeter salad, add a bit more honey or maple syrup. You can also add other berries like cranberries or chopped peaches. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
