Method
- Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of creamy peanut butter and 1/2 cup of softened unsalted butter. Use a spatula or wooden spoon to mix until smooth and fully incorporated.
- Step 2: Gradually add 1 cup of powdered sugar and 1 cup of graham cracker crumbs to the peanut butter mixture. Stir until everything is fully incorporated and forms a thick, cohesive mixture.
- Step 3: Grease an 8x8-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper. Press the peanut butter mixture evenly into the bottom of the dish.
- Step 4: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine 1 cup of milk chocolate chips and 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
- Step 5: Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer in the baking dish. Use a spatula to spread it evenly.
- Step 6: Place the baking dish in the refrigerator and chill for at least 2 hours or until the bars are firm.
- Step 7: Once the bars are set, remove them from the refrigerator, cut into squares and serve.
Notes
Store the bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze for longer storage.
