- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Step 2: Fill a large pot with water, add salt, and bring to a boil. Add cubed potatoes and boil for 15-20 minutes until fork-tender. Drain and set aside.
- Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, combine sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, chopped green onions, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Step 4: Gently add the drained potatoes to the mixing bowl and fold into the mixture using a spatula.
- Step 5: Grease your baking dish and transfer the potato mixture, spreading it evenly.
- Step 6: Optionally, sprinkle mini marshmallows on top and drizzle with chocolate syrup.
- Step 7: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until heated through and bubbling.
- Step 8: Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
