- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a flat surface and separate the triangles.
- Place a mini hot dog in the center of each crescent roll triangle.
- Tightly wrap the dough around each hot dog, starting at the wide end, leaving the pointed end free to resemble a mummy's wrappings.
- Place the wrapped hot dogs onto the prepared baking sheet. Use small slices of black olives to create eyes. Add a small line of mustard for a mouth (optional). For an extra spooky effect, add a small drop of ketchup to create blood splatters.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
- Let the hot dog mummies cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
For a spicier kick, use spicy mustard or add a dash of chili powder to the dough before wrapping. You can also use different types of olives or other small ingredients for the eyes, like pretzel pieces.
