- Drain the canned green beans and set aside.
- In your slow cooker, combine the drained green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and onion powder.
- Stir until all ingredients are well combined.
- Cook on low for 4-6 hours, or on high for 2-3 hours, or until heated through.
- Stir in 1 cup of the French fried onions.
- Continue to cook on low for 30 minutes, or until the onions are slightly softened.
- Before serving, top with the remaining ½ cup of French fried onions. Serve immediately.
Notes
For a richer flavor, consider using homemade cream of mushroom soup. You can also add other vegetables like mushrooms or peas. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
