Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 cups Thinly sliced cucumbers (about 3 medium cucumbers)
  • 1/2 cup Cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 1/2 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons White vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper

Equipment

  • Large Mixing Bowl
  • Baking Sheet
  • Whisk

Method

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange bacon slices on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until crispy.
  2. Remove bacon from oven and let cool slightly. Crumble bacon into small pieces.
  3. In a large bowl, gently combine the thinly sliced cucumbers, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, white vinegar, sugar, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.
  5. Pour the creamy dressing over the cucumber mixture and gently toss to coat everything evenly.
  6. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. The longer it sits, the better it tastes!
  7. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the dressing. Other cheeses like Monterey Jack or Colby Jack can be substituted for cheddar. Feel free to add chopped red onion or dill for extra flavor.
