  • 4 ounces Cream cheese softened
  • 0.25 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 Jalapenos seeded and minced (adjust to your spice preference)

  • Medium bowl
  • Whisk or electric mixer

Method

Instructions
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, and water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
  2. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until cranberries have burst and the sauce has thickened.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool completely.
  4. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and mayonnaise until smooth using a whisk or electric mixer.
  5. Stir in the cooled cranberry sauce, minced jalapenos, and optional pecans/walnuts and lime zest.
  6. Mix well until everything is combined.
  7. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  8. Serve with crackers, tortilla chips, or vegetables. Enjoy!

Notes

For a less spicy dip, reduce the amount of jalapenos or remove some of the seeds and membranes. You can also adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar to the cranberry sauce.
