- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened unsalted butter, creamy peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Mix until well combined and creamy.
- Step 3: Add the graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract to the mixture. Stir until everything is fully incorporated.
- Step 4: Press the peanut butter mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Step 5: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and vegetable oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Step 6: Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer in the baking dish. Spread it evenly across the top.
- Step 7: Refrigerate the bars for at least 2 hours or until the chocolate is set.
- Step 8: Once set, remove the bars from the refrigerator and cut them into squares using a sharp knife.
Notes
Store leftover Buckeye Bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
