- In a large bowl, combine the coleslaw mix, drained cranberry sauce, and diced apple.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, Dijon mustard, and celery seed.
- Season the dressing with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust seasonings as needed.
- Pour the dressing over the coleslaw mixture.
- Gently toss to coat all ingredients evenly.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to blend. For best results, chill for at least 1 hour.
- Serve chilled. Garnish with extra cranberries or chopped pecans, if desired.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the dressing. You can also substitute other types of apples, such as Granny Smith or Braeburn.
