- Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your muffin tin or line it with paper liners.
- Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, ground ginger, ground nutmeg, and salt.
- Step 3: In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Step 4: Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and gently stir until just combined.
- Step 5: In a small bowl, combine the streusel topping ingredients until crumbly.
- Step 6: Divide the muffin batter evenly among the muffin cups, filling each about two-thirds full. Sprinkle the streusel topping over each muffin.
- Step 7: Bake for 18-20 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Step 8: Allow the muffins to cool in the pan for about 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
